A well-rested child is curious, energetic, happy, playful, and eager to learn.
Your child must learn how to sleep.
Your baby will be able to sleep for longer stretches once they have learned the skills to fall asleep independently. As the parent, you set the stage, and can lovingly teach your child these skills.
You are likely here because you already feel tired and overwhelmed.
You came to the right place!
When your child sleeps, you sleep. Reclaim your sleep, and the physical and mental health that comes with it. I do this so you can feel human again.
Using an expert with proven methods lets you sort through the myriad of advice available online and in books.
Recmmendations depend on your child’s age, personality, sleeping habits and environment.
You also get peace of mind and confidence with one-on-one support while you are teaching your child how to sleep
My approach to improving your child’s sleep is pretty simple:
- I will give you honest information about WHY sleep is so important for your child’s well-being.This will give you all the motivation you need to make changes to your child’s sleep habits.
- I will lay out an easy-to-follow, step-by-step plan based on your family’s needs and what you decide is the right approach for your child. All children are different, and nobody knows your child better than you do. With your insight and knowledge, we will be able to customize his or her sleep plan.
- I will show you how to measure success. No, you shouldn’t expect your child to sleep 12 uninterrupted hours on the first night — although it does happen! I will tell you what you should expect along the way.
A little note about the “crying” question: Since people always ask about whether my program involves “crying it out,” I think it’s something that deserves to be addressed here.
Crying is your child’s way of protesting change, and you can expect that making changes to their sleep habits will result in some protest. That is why is is important to know that program will most likely involve at least some amount of protest on the child’s part.
Please understand that I will never ask you to leave your child to cry alone, nor will I ask you to ignore their cries. The reason that The Sleep Sense™ Program is so effective is that is allows you develop a plan that you feel comfortable with, based on what you know about your child.
The program offers a quick, gentle solution for your child.
The Sleep Sense™ plan is not a medically certified program, and should never replace advice or directions from your doctor or medical professional.
